SCREEN USER GUIDE

double click the screen where you want to setup

Icontactworld is a point and click Visual Search interface where you can setup shop, market your skills, broadcast your opinion or network with friends. Point at icons to open their contents, search by entering keywords in the searcher box or explore the network by following links on the Sat-Nav console.
Geo location brings you to the screen for the city you are in - London. Double click the screen on the location where you'd like to be based to setup (or point at the top-left satellite on a touch screen).

POINT HERE FOR HELP WITH SETUP

ON A COMPUTER OR ON A TOUCH SCREEN
On a computer double click a space on the screen where you would like to position your icon and the system will log your position and take you to the Setup screen. On a touch screen device, touch the blue satellite in the top left corner of the screen to open the Login window, then the Setup button, before touching a place on the screen where you would like to locate .
WHERE TO LOCATE?
The Screen is a ecosystem where people cluster in areas they are interested in or where people are engaged in similar activities. Best location is next to friends or similar businesses or towards the top left of the screen. You can change your screen location later from your Control Panel.
CONTROL PANEL AND SETUP SCREEN HELP
You can always get contextual help during setup and after you've setup and logged into your Control Panel by pointing at the question mark icon in the top right hand corner.

POINT HERE TO OPEN THE GUIDE

SEARCH
Type in a trade or group name into the Search box e.g. restaurant and icons containing that keyword on their front page will be highlighted. Try it out by searching for words on the front page of your own display.
LOGIN
The blue satellite at the top left corner of the screen opens the Login window where, if you type in your name and password, you can access your control panel.
Note: To Setup on a touch screen device point at the setup button in the Login window .
LOCAL MAP
Point at the central satellite to open up a Map of the area where you are. You can write notices that are shown on the Map as well on the main London Screen.
SCREEN LOCATION
To the left and right of the central satellite the coordinates for the current position of your cursor are displayed.Use them to specify the location of the icon anchoring your display, send messages to other people onscreen by addressing their icon and to 'Zilch' obscene of offensive displays.
THE NETWORK
The orange, top central, satellite opens up the "Network" of City, Country and Continental screens. On Country Screens a map showing the major Cities of the country opens from the central Satellite enabling you to navigate up or down the "Network".
ISSUES DISCUSSION FORUM
The bottom left satellite opens a screen for debating local issues. You can propose new debates or take part in existing ones in an attractive visual millieu.
LATEST POSTS + NEWS
The bottom right satellite opens a News Screen where displays are not opened from icons, rather, the most recent posts are shown on top of older posts. It's an interesting display format.
EVENTS CALENDAR
The bottom central satellite opens a window displaying the dates, times and venues for events that have been posted up by screen users.
